In this 3rd session of our 40-day prayer challenge, we are reminded to Pray Hard. Joshua 3: 1-8 reminds us after we pray, we need to take that first step …"go stand in the river." At times, we have been waiting for God to make a move while God is waiting for us to make the next move. One step of faith goes a long way. Listen for it. REMINDER: May 7 is National Day of Prayer - remember to pray for our nation. Also, readings for week ahead are below in the comments.

Week 4 Devotional for “Draw the Circle”

In this 4th session of our 40-day prayer challenge, we are reminded to Think Long. Caleb’s actions in Joshua 14:6-12 remind us that God answers prayers - not just for us- but for generations to come. We have often harvested where we did not plant; it’s time to sow prayer seeds for future generations. Additional scriptures and thoughts for the week ahead are listed in the comments. Keep praying and keep circling. ( and yes , the wind is noisy in parts of the video - thanks for your patience)

Draw The Circle Week 5 devotional 5/20/2020

In Week 5 of”Draw the Circle - 40 day prayer challenge” we are reminded that there are ripple effects to our prayers. In Joshua 4:1-7, we read how one man from each of the 12 tribes took a stone from the now-dry river bed of the Jordan to create a memorial to God. Our prayers may ripple out and affect lives hundreds to thousands of years from now. God, in his sovereign Grace, invites us not only to be a relationship with Him but to also be a part of kingdom work for years to come. See the comments below for additional key thoughts and scriptures for the coming days as you finish this challenge. And keep on circling...
